I am an Assistant Professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, in the School of Information Technology at the Faculty of Engineering and Design. I have an affinity for design, software development, psychology, video games, and BeaverTails.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Okanagan Visualization & Interaction Lab and Aging in Place Research Cluster at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus.
Prior to that, I was a PhD student studying Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information (iSchool). I was part of the Technologies for Aging Gracefully Lab (TAGlab) at the University of Toronto. My supervisor was Professor Cosmin Munteanu.
I completed my Master of Information (MI) in at the University of Toronto. My concentration was User Experience Design (UXD) and I completed the thesis option.
I also completed my Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc) at the University of Toronto. I studied Computer Science (Specialist, with a focus in Artificial Intelligence) and Neuroscience (Major).
I am a Junior Fellow alum at Massey College.
